A day in your new position

You start your day with a good cup of coffee. As you walk to your desk, the phone rings: a (international) customer has a question about the settings of their new coffee machine. You listen, think along with them and offer a solution that makes the machine work perfectly again. During the day, you handle phone calls and emails, helping our customers with a variety of technical questions.

Later that morning, you join a project meeting. Together with colleagues, you discuss improvements for a new product line. Your analyses and insights from malfunction data provide important input for optimising our machines.

After lunch - perhaps a walk with colleagues - a training session is on the agenda. You will welcome a group of service engineers and lead an interactive training session on the maintenance and use of our machines. With your expertise, you’ll make sure they can start work with confidence.

 At the end of the day, make a to-do list for the week ahead. This includes creating a service bulletin of a recent field test you performed, preparing an external on-site training session and updating parts and price lists. With a feeling of satisfaction and a smile on your face, you end the working day.

What do we expect from you?

You are customer-oriented and actively listen to our customers’ wishes and needs. With your proactive attitude and keen understanding of how to make connections, you really make a difference. Within a self-organising team, you perform superbly and enthusiastically contribute to joint successes. You have a thorough knowledge of electronics and mechanics and extensive experience in carrying out tests and repairs. In addition to Dutch, you are comfortable in English, and if you also speak German and/or French, that would be a valuable plus.
