Vacancy Team Supervisor (Production lines)
Full-time
As Team Supervisor, you will work 60% in the production lines, assembling parts into a complete coffee machine, performing tests and packing the coffee machines. The other 40% is spent coordinating your team, which consists of 8 to 12 colleagues. In this role, you are not only a leader, but also an active participant in the process. You combine hands-on work with motivating and supporting your team.
A day in your new position
You start the day with a short team meeting, in which you discuss the parts and numbers to be made. You check whether there are any particularities, such as a new employee who needs to be onboarded or points for attention from the previous day. You make sure that everyone knows what the priorities are and that the tasks are properly distributed.
After the meeting, you will work on the line yourself. At the same time, you will monitor progress and help where necessary. You regularly coordinate with other Team Supervisors to ensure that the production process runs effortlessly. Halfway through the day, you check whether you are on schedule and whether everything meets the quality standards and make adjustments where necessary, in consultation with the Manager Production & Warehouse, Is there a new colleague joining you today? Then give guidance and share tips on how to work efficiently.
The day comes to an end when you do the final check to see whether the numbers have been achieved, the quality guaranteed and the workplace is clean and tidy. You also check within the team to see if there are any points for attention for the next day. In addition to these daily tasks, you will also work on 5S, process improvement, performance reviews and development of colleagues within the organisation. With a feeling of satisfaction and a smile on your face, you end the working day.
