ETNA Coffee Technologies' board of directors is reinforced with business administrator Linda van de Maat. As director of operations since 1 February 2023, she is ultimately responsible for production, warehouse, logistics, purchasing and HRM. The management team now consists – in addition to Linda van de Maat – of Richard Vogelzang, Joop Veenhof and Peter Jager.
From procurement to impact: Linda’s mission at ETNA
Linda's fascination with production processes and business management arose when she began her career as a buyer for a manufacturing company in 2004. She subsequently worked as a project manager, operations manager, general manager and as an independent business consultant for various organisations. Her
ambition at ETNA Coffee Technologies: ‘To shape the tremendous growth we are experiencing in a controlled and efficient manner. By optimising processes together with the team and reflecting each day upon opportunities to do things smarter or better. I will also focus on ensuring a socially safe working environment in which we make optimal use of the talent of all our employees and provide sufficient room for personal development.”
Sustainability objectives
What appeals most to Linda in her new position? “The driven team with a down-to-earth Dutch mentality, the ambitious growth objective and the dynamics of a production company. Last but not least, an amazing product: coffee machines! In addition, the sustainability goal of CO2-neutral production in 2030 provides extra motivation. It’s a great challenge, which I am happy to take on!’
