Peter de Haan, account manager for Manufacturer Services at Wecycle explains: "Wecycle is the brand name associated with Stichting OPEN (together we are Stichting OPEN). As a management organisation, we fulfil the legal producer responsibility for products such as electrical appliances, light bulbs, batteries and (e-bike) batteries. For this purpose, we take care of the entire collection, sorting and processing. On behalf of all manufacturers (including, therefore, ETNA coffee machines), we report on this to the authorities."
ETNA is a member of Stichting OPEN/Wecycle, so a disposal fee is paid for each coffee machine. This means that all ETNA machines can be recycled correctly at the end of their service life at a time convenient to the customer, at no cost to them, or even collected via Wecycle voor Bedrijven. (just check the terms and conditions).
