OUR COLLEAGUE SANDER WUBBELS AS A VOLUNTEER
Sander plays an important role in the organisation of the zwem4daagse. Together with four co-organisers, he coordinates the volunteers, manages the administration and registrations, and ensures the purchase and presentation of the well-deserved medals. He also maintains close contact with the owner of the pool and ensures that everything on site, from the decoration to the coffee for the volunteers, runs smoothly.
Sander also has a crucial role in coordinating the rescue team, of which he is an active member himself. Together with his team, he ensures that the safety of all participants and spectators is paramount. Among other things, they do this by properly regulating the influx of swimmers so that it is never too crowded in the water, and by making sure that small children stay safe and do not get too close to the pool edge.
In this way, Sander and De Gendten together contribute to making the zwem4daagse not only a sporting, but also a safe and successful experience for everyone!

ZWEM4DAAGSE
The Netherlands is a true land of water; we learn to swim for our safety in and around the water. For children, even after obtaining their swimming diploma, it is important to keep swimming regularly and to keep practising their skills. This is why swimming and water polo association βDe Gendtenβ organises the zwem4daagse every year. This is a fun and sporty activity in which children, family, friends and classmates can participate together.
This year, De Gendten is organising the zwem4daagse for the 49th time. The event is taking place in the swimming pool of Sportcentrum Laco Oude IJsselstreek in Terborg, and promises to be another great success.
