Fresh Brew

From Alaska to South Africa: the world over, people pour hot water onto ground coffee to capture the flavour.

The aroma released during this process evokes warm associations worldwide. The taste is the heart of our passion. For centuries, filtering coffee has been the most popular way of brewing coffee. Our fresh brew machines use the same tried and tested method.

For your convenience the coffee is made fully automatic. By applying state-of-the-art technology we are able to preserve this age-old method of making coffee, in essence, without losing either time or quality because it is made by a machine. As you can taste.

Traditionally, the water would be poured on by hand. The quantities could therefore be measured precisely. Our machine can do the same. ETNA fresh brew machines accurately measure the exact amount of coffee for one cup. The coffee then briefly comes into contact with the exact amount of hot water. It is then drawn through the filter, dispensing a cup of fresh, steaming coffee.

Coffee that tastes the way it’s always tasted. Our technology also enables this method to be used to make larger quantities of coffee. Filter coffee is therefore the most suitable for mugs or jugs of coffee. Indeed, the French have good reason to order ‘un café filtre’ when they want a large cup of coffee. The coffee machine uses a paper or semi-permanent filter.
